Data Processing Agreement

When you operate a store on Sellup, you are the data controller for buyer personal data collected through your storefront. SELL UP TECHNOLOGY (Sellup) acts as your data processor and processes that data only to provide e-commerce hosting, checkout, order management, and related services.

On your instructions, Sellup may process buyer identity and contact details (name, phone, email), delivery information, order and payment status (not full card numbers — handled by Paymob), chat messages, order notes, and limited analytics signals (such as approximate city and device type).

Sellup remains the controller for seller account and verification data under the Privacy Policy.

Sellup will:

• Process buyer data only on your documented instructions (store settings, catalog, checkout flow) except where UAE law requires otherwise • Keep authorized personnel bound by confidentiality • Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures • Not sell buyer personal data • Assist with buyer data subject requests via platform tools and support@sellup.today • Notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a breach affecting your buyer data • Maintain staff access audit logs for order and customer PII access

Processing continues until you delete your store or terminate the agreement, plus statutory retention.

You authorize Sellup to use subprocessors needed to operate the platform, including Supabase, Clerk, Paymob, Resend, Sentry, Railway, Upstash, and Cloudflare. Sellup will maintain a current list, impose equivalent data protection terms, and notify merchants of material changes where required.

As controller, you must:

• Have a lawful basis to collect and use buyer data • Provide accurate privacy notices to buyers (including a link in your storefront footer where applicable) • Respond to buyer rights requests for data you control • Use marketing pixels and buyer communications in compliance with applicable law • Notify Sellup if you receive a complaint or regulatory inquiry relating to buyer data processed through Sellup

This agreement supplements the Sellup Terms of Service and is accepted when you create a store on Sellup.
